Vlad Masters is a character on the Nickelodeon show, "Danny Phantom," and voiced by Martin Mull. As Danny's arch-enemy, he's always trying to get back at Danny's father, Jack Fenton, for stealing away Maddie Fenton, and causing his accident. As a youth at the University of Wisconsin, he, Jack, and Maddie were close friends and worked together researching ghosts. While making a ghost portal, Jack accidentally put diet soda instead of ecto-energy in the Ghost Portal prototype, thus causing Vlad to come down with the worst case of ecto-acne ever. Scorned by Maddie, he set out to use his newfound ghost powers to amass a fortune and get back at Jack.

When not plotting revenge, Vlad is the successor to the Wisconsin Dairy King, and lives in a castle in Wisconsin. A lifelong, die-hard fan of the Green Bay Packers, Vlad has even built a football stadium in his backyard in an attempt to get the city of Green Bay to sell him the team (which they won't). Though snubbed by the city of Green Bay, Vlad still loves his Packers, and has a living room decorated with Packers memorabilia, including a football autographed by legendary middle linebacker, Ray Nitschke. As a resident of Wisconsin and graduate of UW, he calls Danny "little Badger," a reference to UW's mascot, Bucky Badger.
