Episode 06 begins at school, with Miyajun teaching the class how to use chopsticks. Masashi remarks that he always used to use sporks, and how he liked them better. Gaku is amazed, and Ninamori agrees that sporks are better. After Naota leaves the classroom to go get some sporks for everyone to use, Gaku asks if Naota is going to "get some" and laughs euphemistically. Eri remarks that she doesn't know, and goes back to drinking her juice box.

Later, Eri, Gaku, and Masashi are all walking home from school and pass by Mamimi, who is obviously searching for something. They see Naota almost slink away, and Masashi asks him if he's simply going to leave her there. Naota says nothing, but keeps on walking while Eri looks pensively at the falling rain and Mamimi.

Days pass with no sign of Naota, and during gym Eri, Gaku, and Masashi are all discussing what might have happened to him. In typical Eri fashion, Eri remarks that all Naota needed to do was say what he feels. "I did that and then I cried and stuff." Gaku and Masashi ask to whom she cried, and she says her mom and dad, leaving Gaku and Masashi shocked while she scales the bar.

A few days later while walking to school, Eri comes across Naota and Haruko sleeping together under bits of cardboard. She says nothing; merely looks at them for a few moments and walks away.

We don't see Ninamori until the next school year, while she, Gaku, Masashi, and Naota are getting drinks at a vending machine after school. Naota puts his money in, and Eri picks a drink that's "too carbonated" for Naota's taste. Just like before, she remarks that his uniform looks stupid on him before running off to track practice.
