Eri isn't seen until about halfway through this episode, when, while riding around with Gaku and Masashi while they do deliveries for their part-time job, the three of them come across Naota and Canti in a survival battle. While Gaku and Masashi fanboy over Naota when they learn about the fact that he saved the city, Eri eats her popsicle and watches almost apathetically. Once finished, she demands another one. Masashi instead gives her a "prize," a clear, neon-green water gun. Gazing at and through it, she sees Mamimi standing on the bridge above them, watching Haruko and Naota. Haruko calls for Mamimi, but she doesn't respond, and after a few moments of silence, Eri squirts Naota with the water inside the gun.

After the three have driven away, Eri asks if the boys think Mamimi and Naota are going out. Masashi says that Mamimi is Naota's brother's girlfriend, and that he's a baseball player. Gaku brings up Haruko, the "kiss-kiss" girl, and says that she also likes Naota, and that Naota is "like, popular!" Ninamori sits in the back of the truck and sadly looks at the gun, then points it down and takes aim at nothing in particular.

Eri isn't seen again until near the end of the episode when Mamimi falls and comes crashing into the delivery truck with her and the boys. After the fight is over and the firey ball of energy formerly known as Naota falls to the ground, she squirts it with her gun, causing Naota to return to his normal self.
